Hey I'm Joshua Hemby. I am 16 years old and a junior at Alvarado High School in Alvarado Texas.
I first started racing live axle go karts at age 6 at Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale Texas http://www.cowtownspeedway.com. I then moved to the modified go karts taking the title of track champion in 2004. In 2005 I started racing mini stocks having 13 wins. In 2006 I started racing limited modifieds and finished in the top 10 for the season. In 2007 I decided to take it up a notch and started racing modifieds finishing 7th in points for the season. In the 2008 season I will be going big time racing Sprint cars.
My dad, Gary Hemby has built all my race cars except for my first go kart. I work with him, Jeff Mullins, and Chris Roan at Track Master Racing Products building street stocks, limited modifieds, and modifieds. I have been around the track on Saturday nights since I was 7 years old. Before I started racing the mini stock, I pitted for Mark Mosley, Sean Jones, and Jay Branson.
